TCIL requires qualified and experienced Candidates for the following posts on contract basis:

B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics & Communications/Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 60% marks in aggregate from Institute/ University recognized by AICTE/AIU.

Experience                                                    :

 

At least 1 year experience in handling of :

 

Ø      Networking with good understanding of Computer Hardware, networking concepts.

 

Ø      Audio/Video equipment and the related equipment used in studio setup such as video conferencing equipment, mixer, speakers, audio-video, streaming, recording, non-linear editing,etc.

The candidate shall be required to :

 

1.      Install, test and maintain the modem, switch,etc.

 

2.      Install, test and maintain the studio equipments like Camera, audio-video mixer, video scanner, projector, microphone,etc.

 

3.      Interact with the clients, provide necessary inputs for Tele-education/ Tele-medicine operations. Operation & maintenance of equipment including assistance support to the Operation & maintenance team at Data Centre.

 

4.      Monitor Performance of equipment and network on daily basis and maintain necessary reports.

 

5.      Coordinate with vendors team for rectification of equipments.

 

6.      Diagnose the problems in network equipments.

 

7.      Carry out acceptance testing as per the laid down procedure.

 

8.      Manage doctors and teachers for successfully delivering the Tele-Education and Tele-Medicine Sessions.

 

9.      Maintain All records pertaining to site equipments.

 

10.  Coordinate with data-center for various requirement of functioning of the network and services.

 

Consolidated Emoluments                          :

 

 

Rs. 20,000/- per month

Qualification                                               :

 

Diploma in Electronics and Communication/ Information Technology/ Computer Science, B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA or an equivalent degree in Electronics&Communications/ComputerScience/

Information Technology from a recognized Institute/University

 

Age limit                                                     :

 
Maximum 28 years as on 01/01/2009

Experience                                                 :

 

At least 1 year experience in handling of computer hardware, IT equipment and audio/video equipment used in studio setup.

 

 

Candidate having knowledge of deployment and configuration of Computer Hardware, Software and network services, audio/video equipments shall be preferred.

 

 

Job profile

 

 

The Candidate shall be required to :

 

1.      Ensure that all the equipments of the site are in working condition which includes computer hardware, software, networking equipments, studio equipments, UPS,etc.

 

2.      Assist the Site Engineer, maintenance team of contractor for installation, testing and maintenance of the equipments of site.

 

3.      Carry out troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

 

4.      Report Faults in the equipments for immediate necessary action.

 

5.      Follow up with various agencies for rectification of the faults.

 

6.      Assist Doctors and Teachers for successfully delivering the Tele-education and Tele-medicine sessions.

 

7.      Maintain all records pertaining to site equipments.

 

8.      Coordinate with data-center for various requirement of functioning of the network and services.

 

 

Consolidated Emoluments                       :

 

Rs. 14,000/-per month

 

Note : -

6.       No. of vacancies may increase or decrease as per requirement of the project.
